	Cherry Lane
	Woven into the fabric of Denver’s Cherry Creek neighborhood, Cherry Lane is a study in refinement—a destination that channels the charm of European side streets into a distinctive retail and dining experience.

Tasked with naming and crafting the identity for Cherry Lane, Michael Hsu Office of Architecture sought to translate the spirit of Cherry Lane into a design language that is both storied and sophisticated. A custom book design, layered with tactile details, serves as an invitation to fitting brand partnerships—an artifact that embodies the quiet elegance of this timeless experience.


	Defined conceptually by a single idea: “Denver’s urban outdoors meets the elegance of European streets.”

	Little Rally’s
	

Little Rally’s is a neighborhood pickleball bar located in Cypress, TX, that brings together the spirit of sport and social connection. 

Michael Hsu Office of Architecture led the naming and identity, drawing from the heritage of traditional racquet clubs, and the charm of contemporary hospitality. The result is a brand that feels warm, polished, and confident—a balance of casual ease and refined sensibility.

	The name Little Rally’s plays on the term “rally”—the back-and-forth exchange during a point—and the familiar notion of pickleball as a mini, or “little,” version of tennis.

	Concept for a purpose-driven habit tracking app that syncs your personal goals with the goals of nonprofits. As you progress in building “healthy habits” (e.g. running x amount of miles each day/week/month), you in turn contribute to a cause of your choice through microdonations. 	Research
Preliminary research began with gathering data and statistics on average smartphone usage, screen-time, apps being used, etc. In addition, qualitative research was conducted through a series of 30–45min in-person interviews surveying attitudes on digital well-being, volunteerism and charitableness.

Lastly, I researched and audited the current market landscape in search of precedents set by digital solutions addressing similar problems.
